Gerina-Piller

The date of her birth is 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her heritage is Mexican-American as well as an American by nationality. At a very young age the desire for her to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina took up golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school through Goddard High School. At the age of 16, she was a winner in the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. As a volleyball player, she was also a participant in state tournaments. The year 2003 was the time she was enrolled in the University of Texas. During the senior seasons of her professional career, she won each tournament in which she competed. In her time at college she was awarded her Conference USA Player of The Year award and The UTEP Female Sport Athletics Award.
