Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child with me, and other babies within the cradle worked 12 hours a day grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! It was all starting to come together but it wasn't quite finished. It would take a lot of money effort and my personal favorite brands to furnish this home. In order to keep my budget in good shape, I went out with my three boys in search for bargains at estate sales. Each week we would spend the week of Thursday through Saturday at estate sales and garage sales buying brand new furniture. In the end, I painted and sanded in the driveway in the week. The furniture I found looked like... This is when my passion to restore furniture began. Even though the house was decorated, I was unable to quit. There was a spot in the market in which I sold my pieces. Then, I ran out of many pieces to store in the space available. Over 1000 people visited my home over the course of a weekend to buy all the things on the ground. Growing Days was created in this house. My company was flourishing, but my family was growing too. As a young mom I was able to find the perfect balance to both start my own company and be a good mother. Growing Days was the obvious choice. The year was 2013, and my lovely daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth baby. The direction of my business was fantastic, but I had to rest for a while. I took a pause from creating vintage furniture and slowed down my pace and stayed at home to take care of the kids. That was exactly what I needed at that moment. After a couple of months, the phone began to begin to. Many people called me to ask for advice on home improvement and decorating. A majority of these were those who had walked through my house during furniture open houses! Once I had a few months I started taking on clients in my own way. In no time, I was managing several accounts and a home renovations business. If you had predicted that this venture that I started would become the premise of a tv show on DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. In the present, as I think about the circumstances, I find myself laughing.
